SH Troupe Cast List & Script
Dear 25th Year SH Troupe,
Your cast list and script are attached.
REMINDERS:
* Please remember that casting is not solely based on talent.* The director considers ensemble chemistry and the collection of talents/skills already present, opportunities for experienced actors to stretch and learn new techniques/skills, and prior or potential future roles (because HST asks directors to “share the wealth” when possible).
Please wait until after sunrise tomorrow to discuss the show with your friends in the troupe so that everyone can process, read the script, and be ready to be positive and encouraging to all.
*Please respect your director’s choices in casting and directing your show. * Everyone is entitled to opinions, but we ask you to remember to discuss your opinions in a respectful way. Consider how you might like others to discuss choices you make.
REHEARSAL NOTE: Ms. Steffi is still battling her cancer and may need to be away some Fridays for treatments. For this reason, HST will begin working with live-streaming technology during rehearsals to prepare for those days, should we need them
Blessings, Mrs. Mullan PS – Please print your script, 3-hole punch it, put it in a binder that has your name on it, and bring a pencil & highlighter along with your script on Friday.

Donation Letter Contest
Dear 25th Year Families,
*We had a remarkable response to our contest for getting students signed up for costume fittings!* We only have 3 students left to sign up – with Acting, Theatricals, JR and SR all 100% complete!! Since JR Troupe was the 1st program to have everyone signed up, they will be receiving a candy treat this Friday.
Our next contest is to see which program can send out the most donation letters! *We are hoping that families will consider sending the letter to several relatives/friends this year*. The $15,000 we are trying to raise for replacing microphones is in addition to the normal $28,000 we raise (between fundraising & donations) to cover royalties, administrative costs, annual fees, insurance, appreciation expenses (pins & tee-shirts), sets/props/costumes, transportation, and batteries.
*To make this task easier,* *the marketing team has put together a flier that you can mail with the letter* (the flier can be in addition to a personal note from your student – or it can serve as a substitute for the personal note). Both the letter and the flier are attached to this email.
EVERY student who helps mail the donation letter *will get called up to pick a candy bar at the beginning of the Variety Show.* *In addition *- the program that mails the most letters will get a candy prize in class on Nov. 15. To even the playing field *we’ll calculate the winner by getting an average* (total # of letters divided by total # of students).
