Dear 25th Anniversary HST Families,
We will be printing HST’s beautiful season program very soon, and this is your opportunity to fill the program with congratulatory ads for our students and teachers and to help cover the costs of printing.
The deadline for ad submission is *Friday, February 28, 2020*.
*Important Note:* In previous years we were able to extend the ad submission deadline but *our delayed flier campaign delayed the start of our ad campaign *so there will be NO extension of the ad deadline.
*Friday, Feb. 28, 2020* is the *absolute deadline *for submitting* orders, payments and ad copy*.
*Please read these instructions carefully as some of our options and specifications for congratulatory ads have changed.*
*** How to Order: *Attached you will find the congratulatory ad order form and a document with pictures of the templates and icons from which you may choose if you select an HST-designed ad.
** *New Ad Dimensions*: Please read the order form carefully when designing your own ads. The dimensions have changed slightly for all ad sizes to allow us to maximize the print area on each page.
** *New Full-Page Ad Option*: A special option for the 25th year is to purchase an HST-designed full-page ad. You may choose to submit 1, 2, or 3 photos along with up to 75 words of text, and our team will design your ad. *Please email digital files of your chosen photos (scanned photos will not print as well as digital photos) to hstalents@gmail.com <hstalents@gmail.com>* *for this type of order.* Please note that the cost on this ad is $125. (Design-your-own full-page ads cost $100.)
** *New Name: Quarter-Page Ads*: The old “business card” ads are now called Quarter-Page Ads to more accurately reflect their size. The width has been increased to fit the page as we have moved away from printing actual business card ads from local shops.
** *New Option for Quarter-Page Ads*: In addition to the three templates for an HST-designed quarter-page ad, you may choose a new option called Icon from the templates page. If you choose the Icon template, you will also choose *one* Icon to go with your ad.
** *Text Requirements*: For all HST-designed ads, please note the maximum number of words based on the ad size: full-page 75; half-page 40; quarter-page 25. There is a space on the form to write the text you would like in your ad, or you may email the text to hstalents@gmail.com
***Payments & Forms: *Make checks payable HST. Turn in forms and payments can be turned in at Redland Baptist Church on Friday, February 14, 21 or 28, or mail to HST, P.O. Box 150, Rockville, MD 20848.
***Ad Copy*: For all design-your-own ad options, please follow the detailed specifications on the order form. Email all ad copy to hstalents@gmail.com by Friday, February 28.
